Employers

Here are just some of the ways Shoreline Immigration can help your business:

Labour Market Impact Assessment

A positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is issued by Service Canada and allows a Canadian employer to hire a foreign worker. Among other things, this application assesses whether the need to hire internationally is genuine and whether the business, job, occupation, and wage being offered qualifies under the program.

How we can help:

The first step in determining whether an LMIA is right for your business is a consultation. This 30-minute meeting is free of charge and will allow us to assess to needs of the business and decide if an LMIA is right for you.

If it’s determined the business qualifies, we take care of the advertising requirements, document review, application completion, and full application submission to the appropriate Service Canada office.

Professional fees: Starting at $2000

Global Recruitment

If you’ve already received a positive LMIA and you’re looking to start the hiring process, we can help you source qualified applicants inside and outside Canada. We pre-screen all applicants to ensure you’re only receiving candidates who are not only qualified for the job but also meet the immigration standards set out by the Government of Canada.

Atlantic Immigration Program (Designation & Endorsement)

The Atlantic Immigration Program (formerly known as AIPP) began as a pilot in 2017 and became a permanent program in 2021. It allows designated employers the ability to support or sponsor a foreign nationals and their family’s permanent residency application. The intention is to attract foreign nationals to one of the four Atlantic provinces in order to boost the population and foster economic growth.

How we can help:

The first step in participating in this program is becoming a designated employer. We will discuss your current labour needs and determine if AIP is a good fit for you. After this initial meeting, we can help submit your application form to the respective provincial government’s immigration department as well as any future job endorsement applications you may have.

Provincial Nominee Program

The provincial nominee program is for workers with the skills, education, language, and work experience to contribute to the local workforce, become economically established, and continue to live and work in the province that nominates them. This is one of the many pathways an immigrant may use to apply for permanent residency.

How we can help:

If you’d like to make a job offer to an immigrant OR you have a current employee who is looking for support, we can assist you in completing the required forms and also assess whether your business and employee qualify for the program.
